Is it Safe to Donate Sperm During COVID-19?

We have all had to make a lot of adjustments this year from social distancing to doing so many things virtually. At Seattle Sperm Bank, we are doubling down on our efforts to maintain a safe environment for our donors. Therefore, the following will schedule will apply until things get better out there.

For Sperm Donors

If you are currently a donor in our program, our Seattle lab will be open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All visits are by appointment only, so donors need to schedule their visits using our online system first. You can get further instruction and access to the system by emailing dc@seattlespermbank.com. Men interested in becoming a donor may apply online now.

For SSB Clients

We always here to support the families relying on donor sperm to continue their dreams of parenthood. So whether you are trying for your first child or your last, we will continue to ship orders to clinics and residences until further notice. To accommodate inconveniences caused by COVID-19, we are offering free storage at our premises for six months when you purchase two or more vials.

Another excellent option to consider at this time is at-home insemination. This safe and convenient method offers an added layer of safety by eliminating the need to travel to our clinic.
